If we take a look at the comparison guide on the QuickBooks Intuit website (QuickBooksIntuit.com/online/compare), you will see a chart that outlines the features available in each version. To create purchase orders, you will need to have the Plus version. Now, let's dive right in. I will be using the same company file that I've been using in the past couple of videos - Craig's Design and Landscaping Services. This is a sample QuickBooks Online company file. In our last video, I showed you how to create your products and services list. I will be referring back to that list frequently in this video. To make it easier to follow along, I will duplicate the tab. You can do this by right-clicking on the top tab and selecting "Duplicate." I will keep the products and services list open on one tab while creating the purchase order on the other tab. To create a purchase order, the first step is to click on the quick create icon, which looks like a plus button at the top of your screen. Under the vendors section, click on "Purchase Order." Depending on your screen, it may look different. If you don't see "Purchase Order," click on "Show More" and then select "Purchase Order" under the vendors column.
